Iíve been tot he Tun Tavern a few times, each while a convention was going on next door. Lunchtime crowd was packed each time with business types. Full stocked bar staffed by cute twentysomething barmaids. Attentive staff, not sure how knowledgable on the beer. If your at the Convention Center or the Walk outlets its close by, if your at the casinos the brewpub may be a hike to get to.
Located just on the side of the Sheraton hotel in the shadow of the AC Convention Center. The vibe is a little strange. Itís a very big space, high ceilings and looks like it may have been an old bank. Fake Marine Corps decor. I was in on a Monday night during the winter and there was very little staff but they were very attentive and speedy. No one seemed to knowledgeable about the product though. 7 taps but only 5 were working the night I was in. None of the beers are very good. Food was fine, perhaps a bit over dressed. Prices were a bit on the higher side but you are in AC. Worth a stop if youíre in town and ticking, but I wouldnít go back.
Decent place if in the area but nothing special...which is a shame given the history of the place name (birthplace of the Marines at the original location in Philly I believe). The beers are only average...same with the food. The service is also average at best. Itís a convenient enough stop if shopping at the outlets...but with a tad more time youíre far better off at The Mussel Bar in Revel or probably even Firewaters.
Good variety of beer. The stout I had was pretty good. The food is very tasty, with a decent menu selection. Prices are okay. The service was inattentive - it took forever to get the check. Decor is forgettable.
In the hopes of getting a good microbrew in the area, this is not it. Iím thinking the beers are brewed to be liked by the masses therefore they have a hint of what there style should be but nothing stands out. My favorite is the Devil Dog Ale, but like I said before it doesnít stand out. The food is ok and thatís based on my wifeís input. My portobello mushroom sandwich came out so soggy I had to eat it with a knife and fork.
standard brew pub, no big beers. ipa wasnít bad, rest were ok. no reason to return

Visited this place for happy hour for my bachelor party. We just had drinks, although the food looked pretty tasty as well. The beers were good, available in flights to taste the all, and pitchers to sate the 10 guys in our group. Lots of fun hanging out on the open-air patio, drinking, and listening to a band (the band sucked). Thanks for a great time guys!
Crowed, loud and a bit disorganized is how I would describe this place. Service was slow and the staff did not know a whole lot about the beer. The beer was mediocre and the food the same. Basic bar stuff. Nothing special.
