Well, with ŽižkOff, likely the best place in Žižkov. It was quite full when we visited, but we found a table. Bedecked in beer paraphernalia, carrying a good selection of beers, from classic lagers to more modern styles. The crowd was quite mixed and the beer list might just be the reason why. Mainly small brewery labels, with Cernokostolecky Pivovar's Cerna Svine and Zvíkov IPA 15° as standout, but with other interesting stuff too. Fair prices from what I recall. Does what they mostly do, only with a better selection. I'd return here.
Not too far from the Old Town and easily walkable. Old school place with 10 taps of mostly traditional styles. No flights or small pours, jus 0.3L and 0.5L pours. Prices are decent and service is friendly. Worth a stop.
Been here a few times, but apparently not rated it in the past. Latest visit on August 2, 2017. Some busses stop close by, but we tend to walk down from tram stop Lipanská, down is easy, up will be up the hill and some stairs. Got here quite late this time around, still plenty of people here but found a table. Nice, fast service. Several of the beers on the list and taps were out, but found a few nice ones still. Didn’t eat. Good place with quite a few taps, nice selection even though some seem to be out fairly often. I will likely return.
Traditional pub/restaurant. Several taps with commercial brewery’s. Prices are great, small 0,3 25-30,- Friendly staff, fast service. Traditional food, I ate some pork dish with mashed potatoes, kind of nice. Dident get the wi-fi to work. Looking for craft beer, don’t go.
Traditional Hostinec, food and ten taps with delicious brews from czech smaller breweries.
14 tables. Non smoking.
This is a good place. You may get drunk here, hehehe..... But that’s if you have not tasted any of those ten.
A great Žižkov experience, 15 minutes’ walk from Namesti Republiki or a 5-minute bus / tram ride. Alternatively walk 400m up the well-lit tunnel from U Tunellu and find it on your left as emerging. No smoking or smoke in the main room - yea! - restaurant-café with a dozen draft beers from a rapid-cycling list. Great atmosphere, cool-cum-local. Nothing aimed at tourists, though everything is high quality. One of the best places in Prague to say you have tasted the city.
