Walked across town in the hope of checking out some Oslavany action but unfortunately there was none. The interesting tap was Opat Medovy Kvasnicovy which wasn’t that exciting. That said it’s an interesting pub. Tucked away but pumping, very much a neighbourhood place. I’d definitely recommend it if you know the Oslavany’s going to be on.

Nice and cozy bar with dungeon-like vaults to the left from the entrance/bar and a more open space to the right. Try lifting the wooden chairs in the vaults. Located on the way to Staropramen Brewery if you would tkae a walk in that direction. Only staropramen and Oslavany 13 on tap, but the Oslavany was worth the stop (this was late July 2008). Friendly service. Nice place, stop by if you’re in the area.

Great place, but when I stopped by last week they were not serving Oslavany beer, just Staropramen. Didn’t know when they would get Oslavany back, though they made it sound like it would probably reappear sometime. Worth calling before you go. Correct tel. number is (mobile) +420 603 252 341.

This is a vinárna, a wine-bar/restaurant that serves a very very rare beer. It is presumably the only place oin Prague where you can taste Oslavany 13°, perhaps the only place outside Oslavany where you can try it. This place is near the underground station Andel in Prague-Smíchov. It is in the basement of a large block and quite cosy inside. Nicely decorated this place really invites to stay for a few beers. Their homemade (!) sausages (klobasy) and utopenci are excellent and staff are very very friendly. The other beer on tap was Staropramen 10°, but the divine Oslavany 13° makes it worth the longest trip. Great place!
