A large dinning area with both inside and outside dinning available. Sitting outside you will have a great view of Lake Travis. Uncle Billy’s beer is always good and the view is hard to beat.

The best thing about the Lake Travis location is its amazing views of the Lake. The spot is located 450 feet above the lake, providing endless vistas of views of the lake and the mansions along the rolling hills of northern Austin. Their BBQ food isn’t "authentic", but it’s still pretty damn tasty. I only tried one house beer, which wasn’t that great, but they also have a decent selection of local micro beers. The service was prompt and attentive and the prices for food was quite fair, but their $5 house beers is quite high for this area.

This is the second location of Uncle Billy’s, located high on the cliffs above Lake Travis in the Oasis development. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside the brewpub. The brewhouse is larger than the Barton Springs location, allowing for the brewing of more lagers. There is a huge wraparound patio. The food is the same as the original location. I am a fan of the food, but I know others are not. The beers are brewed on site and many are identical to the ones brewed on Barton Springs, with a few selections unique to the Lake Travis location such as Bottle Rocket Lager and Snake Island Porter. Growler fills are allowed. This location is way out there, but I really like it and think it is a welcome addition to the Austin beer scene.
