A bit of a mix between a grocery store, a deli and a pub. There is a selection of low alcohol (<3.5%) beers that you can buy to go in the grocery part. In the pub part there is a small but somewhat interesting selection of beers on tap and bottle.

The Urban Deli Nytorget is handily placed if like us you are strolling between The Bishops Arms Folkungagatan and Katarina Ölkafé and so it goes without saying it is on Sodermalm and in the centre east part of the island, it’s closer to the latter being just a couple of minutes around the corner. It’s is located on a corner and much like a few other establishments around here it appears to be lifting the profile of the area from what appears to be predominantly working class to starting to become hip, cool and trendy.

Not for the first time have I gone into a place this weekend and found it a tad busy, it’s becoming something of a theme now, btw we visited on Saturday 19th November 2016, it was about 3pm ’ish’ as I recall. Along with posh pasta, (you know it’s posh when it’s in paper packaging rather than cellophane or plastic) and also fancy jars of stuff they sold beer, this appeared to be predominantly located on the LH side just a little further into the store, I didn’t really take too much interest in what they had on offer as I’d got a few bottles already from the Systembolaget Stockholm - Folkungagatan and besides whilst I accept that there are some very good sub 3.5% beers, I get a little annoyed that this is the only choice outside of the government controlled stores. There looked to be an area further on which was a café and where I guess you could choose a beer and drink it on site. We didn’t linger it was a bit too busy in here and we fancied a visit to Katerina Ölkafé around the corner.

Big restaurant with a shop. Good location next to Nytorget, nice to sit outside. Food is higher priced, but okay. Some beers on tap, I had an IPA from Nya Carnegiebryggeriet. Some Folköl in their store.

A fancy food shop with a decent (yet expensive) selection of folköl and lättöl from Swedish breweries (and the occasional foreign one too).

An interesting spot. There’s a nice cafe with a bar in the back, and they have an OK range of beers. I was quite surprised (and impressed) to see an assortment of Sixpoint beers on offer. They’ve got some nice artwork adorning the walls. In the market portion of this place, in the front, they have a nice range of the sub-3.5% beers. Prices are average. Vibe is upscale. Not a beer destination by any means; it’s more incidental. But an alright spot none the less.
