I regret not being here since I moved to Berlin (5 years ago, already). Nice small bar with 6 beers (4 taps + 2 handpumps) and a fridge full of bottles (mostly german and belgian beers). Friendly staff. Good prices. Very good for ticks..
2018-08-02. Came here in search of Schneeeule beer. Picked Lime gose for my girlfriend. One would say, it has global and cosmopolitic vibe, but I really enjoyed the surface of bar, wooden floor and the preserved older and well mantained ceillings. It was quite empty at six in the evening, two guys behind the bar on conversation with two clients. We sat by the bar and I noticed two golden ratebeer medals hanging. Asked how do they come to own these. Guys were surprised by the question, but, what is horrible in my opinion, couldn't answer a question. Damn, you have these well respected prizes hanging, and even couldn't google it after somebody asked you about it? For me, it tells a lot. With no interest in finding out about the medals, they came back to chat. And after we finished our beers, we left for good to. You gotta know yours roots, yours story.
Small cozy bar with only few tables. Really friendly boys behind the spigot, nice sellection of 6 tapped home beers - variation of modern styles - and about 30-40 interesting bottles in fridge. Highly recommended place!
Inviting music from Sticky Fingers by Rolling Stones when we entered the pub early on a Saturday afternoon. Cool, rather small pub room with the servery to the right displaying six of their own beers on tap, available in flights. About 50 beers on a well-selected bottled list. Wooden benches and tables in a charming worn-down layout. Neighbourhood surroundings. Friendly, knowledgeable English barman. Good value and a likable place. More Stones and also Byrds during our stay. (Norwegian Beer Symposium in Berlin, 13.01.2018).
