Finally - there’s a bar in the neighborhood, and it happens to be the best beer bar in town. 24 taps, including 2 nitro and 2 cask, and 100 bottled selections. The food is a good value and the menu has a number of vegetarian selections. Service is friendly - the bartenders can be quite helpful when the beer list becomes overwhelming. The only thing this place doesn’t have going for it is the atmosphere. It’s very open and gets quite noisy when full.

A nice place to grab a couple of beers. Plenty of parking and an easy location to get to. The bar is long with plenty of seating. Small outdoor patio with tables. Plenty of tables inside, mainly for eating. 20+ beer on tap, 2 casks and many bottles. Beer menue is on electronic screens. One downfall is that you can not always read them from where you are sitting, especially outside. Service is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is not nearly as cozy as the downtown location. This place is big and bright and could use, in my opinion, a screen or two to watch the game. Overall enjoyable and a good place to try some different brews.

Ok visited last week on a Thursday night. Was very busy mostly with dinner time folks. I sat at the bar and was impressed as usual( per the downtown location) by the amount of well chosen beers..this time on a video type screen above the bar area. The beers I had were good..the service very nice and the food great..with this i agree with all others. Now here’s the downer..i did not like the atmosphere at all. Wide open and too much huge windows for my tastes..i felt like some freak sitting at the bar while loads of happy middle class families had dinner..most with wine. I wish they had a semi-seperate bar/lounge area were guys like me only wanting a few beers could be.

This is a great new place for a brew. It is off Commercial Street in Salem and has been built off the wildly popular Venti’s Cafe and Basement Bar. Venti’s Cafe and Taphouse has 120 beers available with 24 on tap. The atmosphere is fun and loose and has beautiful staff who are very helpful. The food is great too.
