Nice beer garden, inside is a little dingy. Nice tap selection, but unfortunately they were ’having problems’ with the first two beers I ordered. New stuff was put on instead though. Bottle list looked good.
Cool tucked a way nieghborhood bar in a bit of a sketchy area. Usually this is one of the better places in LA but the last two times I went the staff was bitchy and uncool. I’ll go back for the fine tap list and the cool back patio and. I gave service a 5 which is generous for recent visits but low for what I remember as normal,
Almost scared to come in, a very unruly area with a simple sign stating cocktails. Even walking in, there is little indication of craft beer, but scratch the surface and you will be pleasantly surprised. A decent tap list with some nice surprises and a to go bottle list that has a bunch of offerings no longer available. Better if you go with locals.
Visited several times in the early days for the bottle shares. Been back several times since for birthday parties.
Service is usually pretty good as is the beer selection. Bottles arent cheap but they never are. Beer-wise this place is cool. The neighborhood isnt great (though there is usually someone selling hotdogs outside) and it gets real noisy. Lots of hipsters here to the point of being annoying. It’s been a while, probably time to go back for another visit.
Ahh Verdugo Bar with your awesome tap list, your killer patio and your gorgeous bartenders. How I love thee!
Now if those bar beauties just knew a thing or two about beer, I would never leave.
Big plus for the food trucks. Lets me stay longer and leave happier.
Verdugo Bar is highly recommended to anyone and everyone who likes beer.
Coolest vibe of the LA bars I visited this weekend. Great outdoor patio with picnic tables. Reminded me a bit of Zietgeist but way nicer. The interior decor is slick but not too slick.
limited number of taps but they get the most out of them with great and interesting choices.
Great beer. Nice looking place. Get there before they turn up the volume and turn it into a night club - happens nightly.
A must go in LA. No food but they have food trucks often.

What a bad ass beer bar. Rolling up to it for the first time, you think it’s going to be an old person’s dive bar. Once you enter, it’s this darkly lit chilled out spot with a to die for tap selection. Because it was a Thursday night, when I went to the bar to order a beer, it took more minutes to complete the order. Very nice folks running the bar. A nice dude, a nice lady (easy on the eyes) and one of the owners, Brandon was cool as hell too. The prices were spot on. I’d recommend this place highly to anyone in the area and surrounding areas.
