We visited Village De La Bière on Wednesday 22nd June 2016, this is a short walk from the Cathedral. If you viewed the Cathedral front on and walked along the street off to the LH side after a couple of minutes pleasant stroll you would stumble across the Village De La Bière on a corner.

As beer shops go this is one fairly standard sized and layout with wall to wall beers well laid out by countries and breweries. It had a good selection of local beers but also a pretty decent selection of UK, US and other European countries, so Wild, Beavertown, Brooklyn, Stone, Founders, Mikkeller, De Molen etc all here. However being in France we just went for a fewer local beers from Matten and one from Perle. The prices also seemed fine. I haven’t been to many beer shops in France but this is one of the best I have been to. Didn’t speak to the owner but he seemed like he’d be helpful with advice if required. Nice bit of classical music playing in the background to accompany your selecting.

Good sized beer shop in central Strasbourg with a decent range of beers. Nice and relaxed with plenty of time to make your selections. Good range of local beers as well as imports. Well worth a look.

Cornershop, medium-sized, in central part of Strasbourg. Very good selection of craft beers from Europe, America and down under – one of the best I’ve ever seen in Europe. Well arranged on the shelves and easy to move around. Norway was represented by bottles from Ægir, Nøgne Ø, and Haandbryggeriet. One of the guys even wore a NØ t-shirt. He was very friendly and gave us recommendations to regional beers from Alsace. On his recommendation I bought beers from Bendorf, Matten and Perle (Artzner) to carry back home for later enjoyment. Great value, too. Top notch (visited with Eva, 26.07.2014).

I visited in Dec ’06 and came away with a huge haul of Belgian, French, and German Xmas beers. Great stuff. Good selection and decent prices. Check it out.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Nice little shop right downtown Strasbourg. They have a nice selection of stuff, a lot of Belgian beers but also quite a few up and coming French brewers. Some stock is quite old, but sometimes that is nice - found a bottle of La Trappe Oak aged quad batch #2 here, pretty cool. Can be a bit pricey but I think it’s pretty much on par with French prices. Would visit again if in Strasbourg.

Good selection of beers, 2 rack full with French beers which are certainly on the rise. The man at the store advised me to go to Bretagne where several 100’s micro breweries are starting up. Beer is on the rise in France.

Nice shop just down from the Cathedral. Well organized and a great one-stop shop for French beers along with a nice selection of Belgian, German and other beers. Definitely worth a stop.

A few steps from the cathedral, this shop offers lots of interesting beers. Many local brews from Alsace, many from the rest of France, especially from the North. Lots of Belgian beers and glasses, too. Friendly staff. I will certainly go back there.

Nice looking small shop in the centre of Strasbourg. It’s not crowded with the regular stuff, but focusses on some harder to find Belgian and UK stuff, and has a good selection of (mostly local) French micro stuff. They somehow don’t focus on quality though, and sell lots of terrible beers. Maybe for the tourists? Also prices are a bit high. A must go if you’re in the city.

Very nice and friendly guy behind the counter. Next to a lot of standard Belgians also hard to get French micro’s.
