First of all: The beer is outstanding! On a Friday evening, we were a little lucky to get a table without a reservation. We had good classic Czech food, a little more fancy than most places. Very nice place, a must-visit on future trips to Prague.
Went for lunch, barely found some free tables down below. Clean, tasteful and effective layout and decoration, while you can see the work being done in the brewery part behind the wall. Okay wifi. The service was fast and quite efficient, language barrier or not, friendly, helpful and tried to explain more to us about the beers, which is a pro. Props! The beers were above average for Prague, certainly, classic lagers of their ilk + a solid APA and IPA. Not too flashy but tasty and without any technical flaws, all of them. The food (daily menu) was very good and solid value for the price.
Second time visit to this place, on Monday July 31, 2017. Arrived fairly late after checking in to our hotel, so walked up from Olsanske Namesti, not too far. Sampeld the four beers they had on, prices for a 0,3 pour 28-32 Kc, and for the bigger 0,5 pour 43-49 Kc. Only had the four beers this time, since we ate earlier and it was getting pretty late. Sat downstairs this time. Very nice service, very nice place, will return for sure if I get the chance.
Older place review: Visited for dinner Sunday May 24, 2015. Got there shortly before 18:00. Had scheduled a brewery tour in English that was interesting and went well. We were a group of 11 for dinner, not a huge place, good idea to make reservations if you plan on going here. Nice food, really nice beers, great staff, super place. One not to miss! Closest tram stop is Orionka. I can see myself go back for sure.
Along with Klášterní Pivovar Strahov the best brewery I visite during my Prague beer-raid.
3 beers on tap, all of them in perfect conditions. Cheap, good service, good food... what else?
A bit out of teh track, but if you plan to visit this place together with BeerGeek Bar you will not complaint.
And try their APA, you will not be disappointed. By the way, their Jedenactka 11° is the best pilsener I had in Prague
My first visit here, and I couldnt be more pleased, went with a small group for an early lunch, the service, food and beers were top notch. We arrived at opening time 11:00, and the place filled up, and was filled upstairs at noon. Good spacy vaulted cellar downstairs. Massive wood benches and tables, modern, almost Scandinavian style. Nice and clean toilets, no music during our 2 hour visit, just the hum from satisfyed eaters and drinkers enjoying themselves. Recommended ++
Microbrewery with three of their own brews at tap. Vaulted, chaulked ceiling, with round windows into the brewery itself. Modern interiør in wood, tiltes and stainless steel. Solid, traditional Czech potato and meat style food.
