A great place with fish tank behind the bar, flat screens, and a wide assortment of home brews and some guest taps. Very friendly service and tasty bar food. You can see their tanks behind a wall of glass.
The best thing about the Vintage is the adventurous beer assortment. Even when they do a classic style there’s usually some interesting twist. Lots of unusual ingredients. Always a few new things on tap every time I visit. Large, fairly generic restaurant and bar area. Food is more expensive than similar places in town, but quality is mostly high, a notable exception being the deserts. If this place were downtown I’d go every weekend.
This is a great estalishment, out of their 20 or so taps, they dictate a few of them to other local microbrewers, nice touch. The selection of their own beer is top notch. Their food ifs good Americana fare. Pricing is decent.
From the outside it’s just your average beer par placed in a shopping complex, but once you get inside everything changes. Dim, comfortable atmosphere with a helpful staff. Originally ran into them at the Thirsty Troll beer fest and decided to come in for a halloween beer tasting. The beers are extremely creative and well crafted, the food is delicious. I had the homegrown burger which is made with locally sourced ingredients and I can honestly say it was the best burger I had during my entire trip. If you ever find yourself in Madison, even if only for a night, I suggest making a stop by Vintage.
Really cool place. Bartenders really knew their stuff. Huge selection. I think they had like 15 different beers when I was there. I ate some food, but I was drunk and don’t even remember what it was, but I"m pretty sure it was good. I can’t wait to go back.
At the brewery before the penn state Wisconsin game. Go Penn State. This place is awesome!!!!!!! Great beer amazing service and the food is incredible best burger I’ve had in a long time (it was actually cooked medium rare!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Whilte the food was pricey the beer lfights were reasonable and the burger was cooked perfect and well worth the price. The bar is super cool with a 360 fish tank and a bunch of taps. The waiting area is cool with nice leather couches and chairs (but we didnt have to wait for a table). so if you are in Madison come to this place. On top of that they offered a free schuddle to and for the game. AMANZING!!!!!!!!!
Reincarnated from JT Whitney’s only because they occupied the same building. I can’t rave enough about this place. The food has been incredible all three times I’ve eaten here and the service was right in line. Probably 15 house beers on tap at any one time and they rotate often, so there’s always something new and interesting to try. The beers is pretty damn good too. The interior is vintage as well, with old school brewerania and chairs right out of happy days. The only drawback I can see is that it’s not closer to my home. I’ll be back often as this is easily my favorite brewpub in the state!
Nice, hip looking place, perhaps a bit dim, but very nice.
Our waiter was very kind, knew the beers, what was available, and also knew the menu.
The selection is good. They have a lot of their beers on tap, 2 casks, and a long list of guest drafts as well. It doesn’t get much better than that. Try the Better Off Red if you have to make a choice. It’s awesome.
I had a special burger of some sort and it was tasty!
The food is a tidbit pricey for me, but the portions are large and the food is definitely tasty.
Overall, this is definitely somewhere I will be heading back to when I visit family in the Madison area!
