This is my favorite grocery store in Atlanta, although I like the atmosphere of Harry’s better. Located in Midtown it attracts a unique blend of people which is quite fitting for this unique type of store. The staff is very helpful and friendly, as if they actually enjoy working there. The food is top notch, although it is not cheap. They have more cheeses than I’ve ever seen anywhere (except Holland). Some features: an olive bar, a pizza kitchen, a ridiculous amount of wine, and a smallish but impressive beer cooler. Granted, they can’t compete in price with the Greens across the street. Most of their customers will pay for convienence. I will drive across the street! The Whole Foods Market does not allow artifical flavors, colors, or preservatives in their products. You will not find any Miller Lite or Pringles. Every grocery store needs to be more like this one.

Very good selection for a grocery store. You can create your own six pack as well. Pricing is higher by $1 to $2 than a liquor store, but if you are looking for one stop shopping for dinner and beer to bring home, this is a good place to go

No one in the Atlanta area can say that Whole Foods does not have great food. The market feeling you get from this place is great, but this is a beer rating website. All of the said, the beer selection here does what it can. They have a lovely assortment of six packs. They attempt to keep their beers up to date, but this place is too expensive compared to Green’s. Six packs are easily $1 to $2 more, as compared to other places. Also, the wine guy tried to help me pick out a beer!? Stick with wine buddy I can handle the beer. The Whole Foods gives itself a boost by allowing you to make your own six pack which allows me to try 6 different beers, without having to buy six, six packs! Overall, great store, the beer selection is slightly above average, the only problem Whole foods has a tendency to have high prices, which is okay if you find something you like, it is in fact just a dollar or two.
