Visited later on a Tuesday. Mostly standard Whole Foods lineup, though they seemed to have more local craft then the other South Florida Whole Foods I have been to. They had an OK single lineup which included several Cigar City beers.
64 = ★★ (Just ok)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Typical Whole Foods ambiance with lots of concrete and utter disorganization as to where anything is. The beer selection is decent with some obvious national and Belgian Craft labels but curiously lacking in local stuff. I did have an employee ask if I needed help which was very unusual for a Whole Foods but otherwise it’s nothing special.
This Whole Foods is huge, like a Whole Foods Superstore, and in what looks like a fairly new area. Inside looks nice and clean with a big selection of the typical Whole Foods product. Lots of seating to eat on premise. The wine selection is big and they have the cheeses and such that come with other WF. But since this is a beer website, it’s important to note that I found their beer selection to be mediocre at best. I just wasn’t too impressed. It wasn’t easy to find either. I found their large wine area and assumed it would be close by but the beer is on the other side of the store. Anyway, beats the hell out of the grocery store for sure but just thought they’d have a little more.
I too work here and the beer here is the best of what one can get In south fl non-dedicated store. We roate our selection and try and seek out things that people in the area are not familar with. If you wank something or need something ask for Brian, Rich, Chris or Paul.
