Organic grocery store with a good selection of specialty beers. Doesn’t have the selection like a specialty liquor/beer store, but very good for a grocery store. The staff there is very knowledgeable and friendly. May have to ask for certain rare beers that are only in the back. They will hold beers for you if you call in. Can also have a beer on draft while you grocery shop! Very cool place to get beer for a grocery.
Nice store with the typical selection of brews. The highlight of this place is the tap selection. The address if this place is somewhat misleading as it’s further down Greenville than Park Lane. Hard to get in and out of the property.
I used to come to this store for the massive beer selection (2 huge walls of brew, mostly craft) but now I mostly go to get growler fills. They swap out kegs pretty regularly and have started to get some rarer stuff. Service is decent, I’ve ran into a few people that know a decent amount about beer.
Visited late morning on a Wednesday. Located in the shiny new Park Lane shopping development. Immediately upon entering, there is a taproom that has 25 taps, with pints and growlers available and lots of local options. Further back in the store, there is a solid single selection as well as additional import and national craft options. Selection is good, just a step below Specs and Total Wine. Solid Whole Foods.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Lookng like every other Whole Foods and beer selection isn’t terribly great. What makes this place cool is the beer bar in the store. Nowhere near the beer, so make sure you look for it, but when you do you will be pleasantly surprised. Not exciting but a large selection of good beers.
