I have noticed among beer enthusiast (snobs?) is that there is a universal dislike of WOB. I think people need to take a step back and remember what going out for a beer was like in 2007 and lighten up a little. WOB isn't perfect but its a great at what its trying to do. The south tampa one is the only place to get a wide range of good craft beer in the neighborhood (yard of ale a distant second). I love the set up here, its all outside and open, huge bottle and tap selection, with some strange finds. If you can hit on the right nights you can hit a gold mine of rarer drafts and bottles. I have been here for CCB, Stone, Dogfish, Bells, G/F, etc events that have had vintage and rare kegs on draft each time. This neighborhood is full of punks, but also has very attractive women bar hopping, so people watching is a plus. Friday and Saturday nights are insane busy, but so is everything in this area. If your here on a saturday or friday, lets be honest your not trying to get away from crowds. Service is a mixed bag, some are great and some don't know anything. Just get the app, find the beer you want and order it, why bother dealing with them. I would recommend to anyone who is in south tampa and wants to relax outside with a good beer. Price is above market (5-8 per draft), but normal for this area.

Small WOB location, open air. Staff know how to pour beer and visit tanning beds often, but that is about the limit of their knowledge, which really bothers the heck out of me, since they are working at a place that literally has a name with the words "World" and "Beer" in it. Good beer selection, but there is a new beer pub a couple doors down with a better selection and air conditioning. Regardless, this is a place to go if you can’t deal with McDinton’s and you are down in SoHo already and want to sit outside smoking cigarettes people watching girls & guys walking by that look like Florida versions of the Jersey Shore..

Probably the best World of Beer i’ve been to. Nice open air bar with a small indoor area. Staff is not beer knowledgeable, but they do look good. And they are super friendly and on top of things. Decent selection. Some local beer and the obvious micros.
