I think we all know the drill for Yard House by now. It is an enormous sports bar cum family casual restaurant cum mega beer bar. Almost 150 taps at the center circular bar. However, this is a case of quantity over quality. Out of 150 taps, I’d say about 10 were worth ordering including Ballast Point Sculpin, a fresh keg of Eagle Rock The Populist, and some Clown Shoes beers. The special beers ratebeerians would be interested in are NOT LISTED on the giant menu. They are on the TV monitor above scrolling through the oddities on tap known as the "Chalkboard Series." Other than that, the food was actually quite good. The burger was incredible no joke and everyone else at our table of 6 loved their food though one person was disappointed by the pasta. Service as quick and efficient. No tasting flights it looked like which is annoying.
Therefore, check the monitor for new specialty drafts off-menu and order a burger!
