The best beer bar in Bloomington in my opinion. They have an ever changing selection of some of the best beers available. Beer School on Tuesday nights is always fun, they bring in brewers and representatives from breweries all around the state and even outside brewery representatives from Sam Adams, Stone ect, The brewers and representatives talk about the various beers of theirs on tap, and pass out free samples as well as free swag.
The food has gotten much better in recent years. Its also a great place to catch an IU or NFL game. Special craft beer events and tap takeovers make this my favorite bar in town. Also joining their Century Club is a great way to try and keep track of new beers.
Easily the best craft bee/ sports bar in town.
Went there to eat/drink before a basketball game. We sat at the bar. Service was excellent. Bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beers they served, a big plus for a beer geek like me. I had a Founders Double Trouble, which was very good. Beer list is pretty good; if you go to their website, they have a list of beers they serve. Food and selection was better than most places I’ve visited. It’s pretty close to campus which means it gets pretty crowded on game days and days where good fball and bball games are on TV.
Typical sports bar ambiance. However, they have a pretty decent beer menu. It’s organzied by style, and draft offerings are highlighted in red. I had no problem finding something that I wanted to try, and they have a 4 beer sampler for $4.25. They do have some certified beer servers, but ours was not one of them. However, she was extremely friendly and prompt. I never understand why people complain about a server’s beer knowledge. As long as they know what is currently on tap- I am fine. Definitely worth checking out. Expect to find local and regionals like Upland, Sun King, BBC, Bells, Three Floyds, Goose Island, etc- including seasonals.
Liked this place a lot! Excellent selection of taps and bottles, food was pretty good. I was there to watch the NHL playoffs, and the staff was very accommodating tuning to the channel my team was on. Staff is about 50/50 on beer knowledge, but the beer list is comprehensive and explains enough about each beer that questions should be rare. Liked the rollback patio area. A good stop for the thirsty!
Very nice sports bar with separate area for dining. Huge bar seating. Great selection of beers with a large selection of locals - have 5, 12, and 16 ounce pours available on all beers so you can try a nice variety. Food was standard pub fare - pretty good. Impressive.

Very nice to go back to Yogi’s on a recent visit, with some great friends at that. Bummer that the AC was on the fritz during this infernal late summer but fans and a pleasant atmosphere made it okay. Always been kind of a strange mixture of scenes here, with oldsters coming in to watch the IU game, fratties trolling while screens blare, and others who appreciate the surprisingly deep craft menu this place has generally boasted. It’s better now than I can ever remember it being, with tons of locals and regionals, some of the best national crafts, and a few Belgian treats. Went for a bunch of Sun King, New Albanian, and the like, but the menu was extensive. Great service, as always. I look forward to the next time.
A good sports bar in Bloomington with a nice patio outside. The beer selection is great, with a nice representation of IN beers, along with others. Service is decent. Food is good, as is the value. Worth a stop.
first visit to yogi’s yesterday. love the atmosphere it was quiet when we walked in but by 4pm it was packed. great selection beers on draft and in bottle and you can get a small sampler as well. the food is pub grub and it got no complaints from..our bartender hollis the magnificent was great. not a great deal of beer knowledge but she knows enough and kept us going all afternoon.
