This is a must visit if you’re in the area. Local brews - done in the kitchen and in collaboration with brewers in the area. In addition you’ll find Torbens own imports of UK and Italian beers. I’ve NEVER visted the place without finding at least a handfull of new beers for me. Only downside is that the place may be too busy due to football games on tely or anything else that drags the locals in ;) Bottles can be bought to take away. Food is made at one of the restaurants across the alley and brought over.
Nice selection of beers on tap and bottle. Interior is a true English pub with live music, football matches on telly etc. Ok friendly staff, but they seem to be English, which is a bit artificial. Good beers, but a bit slow staff.
My second visit. First was a crowded Saturday, this was a Tuesday afternoon. Dark room with a lot of sports memorabilia. Very good selection of hard to find beers (in Denmark). No longer serves food. You can have beers to go if you ask nicely. Nice staff but NOT your average knowledgeable beer geek.
Nice cozy english style pub near the train station. Felt a little cramped due to the numbers of tables, wich filled up quite fast due to a both a soccergame on the telly and a pubquiz. About 15 taps with a varied selection of danish, italian, and english beers. Good bottle list aswell with a good number of own imports from iceland, italy, england etc. Friendly service, and fairly priced.
Located in a cozy pedestrian lane in the heart of Kolding, this decent place is definitely what comes closest to a real English pub in the south of Denmark. Traditional wooden furniture, good old English music (Pink Floyd, Queen), very friendly and reasonably knowledgeable staff, good atmosphere. The selection of taps is acceptable, with both decent things like Moor Happiness and cheap stuff, but the choice of bottles is simply extraordinary. No flights. Quite pricey but nice.
Classic English Pub setup, showing soccer games during the day, and sometimes live music at night. Saturday afternoons has live music at the patio. Good times in the summer!
Beer selection is good, with a lot of specialty beer. Selection also change every once in a while.
I think you can get food/snacks delivered from the adjacent Café, at least I saw someone eating nachos there once..
Visited several times, cosy english-styled pub in the city center. Easy to get to and parking within walking distance. The pub is decorated with a lot of football / sports stuff - great deco :-). Nice variation in beers, bot tap and bottles, danish and foreign. The beers on tap is normally in good condition, but now and then they are not, sorry to say. Friendly staff at most times. For sure worth a visit if in the area.
