Interesting Art Deco style place with a surprisingly cavernous interior. Pretends to be a brewpub but the beers are contract brewed elsewhere. They are ok but nothing special. Prices and service ok.
Worth a look if passing.
This is really a nice little hidden gem.
You can sit outside on the pavement. Inside in a fine brown german bier stube. Or in the back in a lovely garden.
Nice traditional german food. Helpfull staff and quite decent traditional german beer.
Not any wide selection. That is the only drawback.
Not a brewery beers are contract brewd at a brewery outside of Berlin

Down on its heels, but just barely hanging onto some old-school charm. Place looks like it hasn’t changed one whit for decades, but unlike other raters we had delightful service. Grub was plentiful and satisfying, dialed up for tourists like us for sure (though there were plenty of German speakers, whether or not from Berlin). House beers thoroughly average but it all scratched that just-after-landing itch we had.

This place has been around for years and is a bit touristy in nature. Majors on food really but there is a small beer selection, including three of their own Zillebrau on-tap. We didn’t eat and thought their three brews OK rather than world beaters.
It opens up once you get passed the bar and the sky light has an interesting fox / goose design within it.
Very Germanic place, solid and easy on the eye but it lacks an intimacy or warmth somehow. Service was fine, the place was fairly empty, so you’d expect good service.

We visited here on Sunday 17th November 2013. From the outside it looks quite a trendy bar bedecked in greenery, inside it is quite airy, light and a little quiet. The bar is to your left as you enter, it is quite long and offers two beers from Zillebrau. The ceiling is a very Art Deco affair and whilst we liked the look of the place we found it a bit souless and lacking in atmosphere. Its ok, beer likewise.
We visited late evening, went through the cafe/restaurant part to a lovely beer garden behind, full of dense greenery and full of happy folk, in the twilight. We tried the sweet and mellow pils - the Original - an onangey, unfiltered wheat beer, and Schwartzbier - a fizzy dark mild - all enjoyed. Not brewed here though.
Wauw. Incredible place. 3 absolutely horrible beers. Pretty bad service. Food was bad. Greasy and didnt seem fresh. We got an offer from 2 massage girls while we ate. They asked if they could give us a massage and afterwards we could pay them what we think the massage was worth. Kind of creepy and dirty place.

Larger citypub, close to the S-bahn, so easy to reach. Seems a bit touristed, more an eatingplace with beers. Staff are friendly. Try to look like a proper Brauhaus, which I wouldn´t say it is. They do food, which looks very nice, but I didn´t eat there.
