One of the best places in town which in case of Prague means a lot. Far away from the tourist trek (takes about 15 minutes on tram from the center so it is not that bad). The beer collection is very impressive including rare beers from both czech republic and the world. You can frequently find the masterpieces by Matushka (the highly acclaimed modern czech brewer). The food is minimal but all the little meat jars they have on offer are unique and imported from one of the village farms outside Prague. After tasting as much as you can from the beer menu here you can continue the beer tour at Pivovar Bašta just 10 minutes away which serves great beer and one of the best foods in Prague for very affordable prices. Finish the evening at Zlý Časy.
No pub in Prague has more balls than this dog. In a backstreet of a backstreet neighbourhood, next door to what looks like a garage, but with perhaps the most interesting selection of beers in the city. Well deserved no. 2 spot is the pub with the best beers in Prague in a recent survey carried out by a local newspaper.
Yes sir madam! What a nice bar this "toothy dog". Here the best brewers of the Czech republic cohabit in perfect harmony with the Mikeller, Brewdog and Nogne of this world. You can enjoy your favorite beverage in a modern environment composed of two levels plus a mezzanine. The surroundings are kind of spooky at night, but it’s nice, in some way, it makes you feel like the mini Indiana Jones of beer. Worth making a detour for sure.
Small and cosy pub in Prague. Opposed to most Prague pubs this place offers a great selection of Danish and Norwegian beers as well as Czech craft beer. Beer selection is unique and new beers are coming every week. This place is only for drink, just light cold snacks are available. I recommend to taste sausage with home made mustard.
