Although bit of a run-down city (and the uninspiring walk to/from the station 15-20 mins) certainly worth a visit as the beers and food aswell as service are excellent. Choice of hell and dunkel zwickelbier, a cracking edel-pils, not the best schwarzbier as I found it a bit too sweet and very rich. Also had on a seasonal, Sommerbier at a quaffable 3.2% abv though a bit thin! For those that don’t like tasty beer from micros, they also have Paulaner hefeweiss on tap and various bottles from them.
Good to see this bar busier than others in town! Please support it!
