Cozy backyard garden and friendly people. Around the corner from Oberphalzer Hof. 0,5 L. Zoigl is 1.70. Euro. The beer Itself is fresh and hoppy with a little more yeast characther than the Hotel Zoigls. Because of that - Not the place we chose to drink.
Presumably one of the most traditional "Zoigl-Stuben" in Windischeschenbach; you really feel like sitting in the brewerís living room. When we were the, the room was crowded with locals. Very nice, just their Zoǐgl was sweet and stickyÖ
Visited April 2012 with my parents. Placed in the citycenter, easy to park within walking distance. We came around lunchtime, had our Zoigl, which was very nice, the locals was teaching us that we had to close the lid on the mug, whenever we wasnīt drinking :-). This was a very quiet place, seemed as people was only speaking whenever they had something important to tell :-) very friendly landlord and staff. Another great Zoigl place to visit, but remember to check up on the opening hours..
Charming beyond words. It was like sitting in a friends kitchen supping superb bier. Each Zoiglbier brewer does his own thing so they are all different at each place in the village. This brewer uses no gas and the result is a superb drinkable bier. Check website for when and where as to who is brewing in the village. A must go destination. BTW 20-30 minute walk to the station.

Small traditional Stube on Stadtplatz. The inner courtyard is very nice in summer. The interior is quite old and very traditional; this is the smallest of the WEBach Stuben. As Herr Heinl is a wine lover, there will always be some good wine from his cellar to be had as well.
Small, barely two rooms but a cultural experience. Shared a table with 3 other people who made sure to include me in their Prosit. A nice gathering of locals of all ages enjoying their great Zoigl beer. Wasnít even finished with my beer before they were offering me another. I would be here as much as possible if I were a local.
Very cool, cozy Zoigl stuble. Tiny room with about four wooden tables. Itís pretty much the living room of the ownerís house. Very traditional, feels timeless or more accurately, like going back in time to simpler days. Could have just as well been 1809 as 2009. Lively crowd even during the day. We visitors were welcomed warmly and if we spoke German Iím sure we would have had some great conversations.
