Abbey Bar

Stopped in early New Year’s Eve this past year, rather dead. Cute little downtown this town has. Bar is nice enough nothing special. Friendly server but not all that knowledgeable. They partner with a meadery now most those meads tastes and look the same. Beer list was ok nothing exciting. Not up to what I was hoping.

Decent brewpub focused on Belgian styles. Their flight is a little steep from what I remember- was here about a year ago. Friendly atmosphere and nice decor. Good stop, and in a busy nightlife area.

Relaxed atmosphere, great beer selections from all over the world, and Volusia County’s first local meadary operates out of there as well. Food selection is a fantastic menu of pressed sandwiches and quesadillas, and has some of the most knowledgeable bar staff around!

I love this place! The people re amazing, friendly, and so smart when it comes to their selection!!! I wish I was able to visit more often. They are my favorite bar in Volusia County!!!!!

Abbey is a wonderful place to go and chill out with your friends and enjoy a great beer or wonderful wine. They have many rare beers as well as your tried-and-true favorites. A large draft selection and even more in bottles means that there’ll always be something new to try. Wines served are of good quality and the food is fresh. Service is impeccable. The price is fair. This place should be one of your stopps before you leave any time you’re in Deland.

Deland is truly lucky to have The Abbey, not only do they bring good beer to the people. They are the most knowledgeable staff I have encountered

Visited December 10, 2011. Enthusiastic staff, good selection, nice atmosphere. Looking forward to gong again sometime.

I like the Abbey. I’ve been there a few times and they always have a good number of new beers to choose from. It’s really just a great place to chill out on a couch and enjoy a brew. I’ve never eaten here so I don’t know how good the food is.
