Cool brewery with a big restaurant space and an upstairs bar that looks like it would be fun, but even when I went on a Saturday night at 930pm, it was closed and dead inside. Service was attentive and knowledgeable, but not hard when you’re one of only 6 people at the bar. Beers were alright, nothing bad, just nothing stellar. This place has, or maybe had, potential, but who knows, maybe Madison is dead on Memorial Day weekend.
2013: Magnificent. Absolutely great beers. Very cool atmosphere and great service. It’s not in the center of the city but that’s why it was easy to reach by car. I definitely would like to visit again.
2016: And another visit. 15 beers on tap. Flight of 6 available. This time I wasn’t exactly as impressed. Slow and inattentive service but the beers are solid. Probably on our list next time in Madison area.

Large brewpub located near Madison’s airport. Nice place with high ceilings and a large patio. There were roughly 10 beers on tap. The beer was pretty well executed and solid all around. Flights are served in pretty big measures (something like 6-8oz pours!). The bartenders were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I didn’t eat, but the food looked pretty good. Overall, a solid brewpub experience. I’d return.
Large, high-ceilinged space.....some pretty cool touches....didn’t have any food, but saw a lot of people enjoying it.....seemed a little pricey.....beers are solid as expected, and our waiter was pretty enthusiastic about my note taking, and even brought out some free samples of brews he liked, (even though I’d already rated them in the past)....still, a very nice bit of extra effort on the service....he seemed to be into it and enjoyed the feedback.....very friendly bunch of folks.....a really pleasant stop.
Huge place with a crisp feeling to it. A nice outdoor seating area and plenty of seating space inside. Bartender was friendly and pretty knowledgeable. The have 12ish beers on tap with large samplers available. Some bottles to go as well. The quesadilla I had was quite enjoyable. Prices were good overall but the sampler was a bit steep. Overall a really solid spot.
Huge place. Large two story bar, lots of swag around, kind of a sprawling restaurant area with windows of the brewing areas. About a dozen beers on tap. All well executed and enjoyable. Bar staff was a little passive. Flight was a little pricy at 6 for $15 but it is a crap toon of beer. Did not try the food. Plenty of parking. Overall a worthwhile stop.
Bar area was nice but layout kinda messed up. No cheeseburgers! that’s not right. Plenty of their beer to select from. Not going to be high on my list of place to go again when looking for something to do.
Stopped here about 9:30 on a Thursday night. Pretty empty at the time. Ordered a pizza that was good but just a pizza. 16 beers on tap. Service at the bar was good but the bartender was short with us despite being a mostly empty place. Some excellent beers, some were bad. Overall a really nice place. It was very dark inside.

Stopped by for dinner on Friday before the Great Taste. Not especially busy, and they were not pouring anything special or otherwise doing anything for the festival. My pizza was ok, my wife’s pizza was not good (veggie). A very large place, and coming from Minneapolis, I can’t help but compare this to surly in both size and atmosphere. Staff was friendly, they had about 10 beers on tap but had room for more.
Large, cool building.. Decent beer, okay food. Had a very rude young lady bartender but the other people there seemed nice, think we just got a dud. Not worth going out of the way for but if you are going by, it’s worth a drop in.
