Au Brasseur

Near Grand Place, crowded with mainly tourists it seems, tourist trap obv with kitsch, TV, blinking red lights, base is an actual classic bar with bunch of tourist crap plastered on top, Pump un the Jam was playing and similar music, beer menu is mainly crap but at least there is Orval, prices could be worse, rated too high on here.

Small corner bar next to the grand place. Solid beer cart without too much exitement. (Thez advocate a 3+1 gratis promition for beers that come in a fancy glass i.e. kwak and la corne). Quite tourist optimised, but okay for a bar in the tourist center. The barkeeper was a bit helpless when i asked if mont des cats was the frensh trappist beer, but i assume they don’t get these kind of questions very often. You can drop by if you’re close, but you can also find a nicer bar somewhere. (It is brussels, it is not that hard to find a decent bar)

A quaint Belgian pub just off the Grand Place though not full of tourists. The place is somewhat smokey and serves a smallish Belgian beer selection, draught and bottles, at reasonable prices.

Small, quite cosy bar right in tourist central and thus with its crush of non beer drinking gawpers. We managed a table in the far end. The beer list is fairly limited, not really a beer destination in my book. Done this one now, no need to re visit.

Located in the side streets next to the Grand Markt. A nice small(ish) place with a cozy terrace. Offers a decent variety of beers, prices are not over the top and the service was pretty nice. One of the more likeable places I visited during my stay.

Very friendly service, nice to sit . Beerlist only contains common beers , and is not toi big . Prices are nice for center brussels . Goid place , but nothing to seek out
