80 Good selection, lots of stuff available as singles, helpful staff |
82 Your typical big, nondescript liquor store in American format. Lots of craft both domestic and imported with much of it available as singles. Just make sure you check the coolers and the shelves. A lot of regional stuff too at around the the $3 per bottle range. Came away with a big haul that the friendly staff boxed for me. |
76 Big box store, but it's clean, well laid out, and the little bar area is nice. The employees are helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic. Great spread of beers, including lots of singles. Sadly, the prices are a bit high, but what should I have really expected in a beach town. This is a good beer shop, and it was worth the visit. |
70 Large store right on 98 in FWB. Good, helpful, knowledgable, and cordial service. Quite a few craft beer choices. Way better than your normal beach town package store. Also offers a few beers on tap and does growler fills. |
72 Another place I visit whenever I’m in this part of Destin/FWB for orchestra gigs. Basically if I’m in FWB, I stop here. If I’m more in "Destin," I hit Chan’s. I’m always surprised by the quality and quantity of the selection and they also have growlers and taps. Pretty sweet. The staff is fine, kind, and depending on who is around, can help you find beer and answer basic questions. Always a stop for me if I’m in FWB. |
90 My favorite bottle shop in the area. 8-12 beers on tap to enjoy as you shop or to take home in growlers. Stop in on a Friday to take part in their beer sampling, $5 to participate and you get $5 off your purchase when you turn in your tasting glass. A win-win! You can create your own 6-pack and don’t forget to check inside the cooler, I’ve been able to find "hidden" beers back there that have sold out. |
82 Very clean, well lit establishment. The whole back wall is coolers and a beer cave behind it. Though the cave is stocked with the actual macro selections. Very good selection of craft beers out front though. Not many whales if that’s what you are after. But a great selection of affordable everyday beers. |
70 Very nicely done liquor store with a solid craft beer selection. Service was inattentive, not sure what they know because they never came to help us out. Selection was solid, lots of craft but nothing that really blew me away or I hadn’t really seen before. The plus was the beers on tap that you can drink while shopping or take home in growlers. Average pricing for the area with a few steals here and there mixed in with a few over the top prices. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you’re in the plaza for Props. |
70 Stopped by on a Monday when I was on my way to Props... this store is in the same plaza. They sell some nice singles and seem to rotate their stock regularly. They had lots of Florida beer and a fairly decent selection of Saint Somewhere, basic Cigar City, Stone, DFH, Sierra Nevada, and the usual suspects. Prices were average to high and the staff seemed knowledgeable enough ("can I help you find something?"). I would stop by if I’m in the area. |
66 Solid store near the beach. Good singles selection. Several taps available as well. |
