Berghoff Cafe - O’Hare Airport (Terminal 1)

Had enough time for a Brew and Berghofs has pretty much the most interesting drafts in terminal 1. 4 Adams Street offering (3 regular and a rotating IPA). Decent service. But 12.50$ for a pint. At least, the Dats Da Jooze was good.

Came here on 12.8.2019. A short beer bar at Concourse C mainly serving Adams Street beers. Food has to be ordered on a different counter. I tried the Neon Rapsody IPA, tasted like water, has never seen hops. They also have some bottle beers including 2X Stout from Southern Tier. Very average lay out.

Stopped by real fast during a layover mid June 2015. Small place, packed though. Service was lacking some due to the fact there was not many working, but many wanted to do drinking. Didn’t feel the urge to stay really. Not a place to go looking for, more if you happen to have some time and be really close with your gate.

A super cramped space that felt somehow even more chaotic than Goose Island’s O’Hare location. I waited a few minutes before I was able to claim a few square inches at the bar. There were 3 Berghoff beers on tap plus a couple of bottles. I also spied a couple of cans from Revolution. The dortmunder I tried wasn’t awful, and (relatively) not bad value at $7.50 for a 16oz pour. Overall, not an essential stop by any means. O’Hare surprisingly seems to not offer much in the way of good beer.

I am talking about the historic Berghoff located in downtown Chicago. It was a perfect dinging experience, with some delicious food and excellent beer. A great place to have brunch before a day in town.

just look at all the other reviews, most are spot on .. cramped .. expensive as anything (even for an airport) .. bland beer .. a place for beer if you can’t find goose island..

The line was too long for me to try the food, i wish you could order at the bar. The bar itself is very cramped, and you have to climb over luggage or cram in almost shoulder to shoulder like thirsty sardines. After all that disappointment and effort, the beers are oretty bad. What kind of style is "Dark Beer’ anyway?

Located just outside gate C-24, this is nothing more than an airport bar. The food is pretty good and the beers a little below average. The prices are what you should expect in an airport.

Nothing I had there was particularly good. Didn’t have food. In the airport, so it’s obviously overpriced.

Didn’t have food, just a beer in the very cramped space near Gate C22. They had 3 Berghoff on, and a bunch of other uninteresting stuff. Forgetable place, though I guess I enjoyed the Berghoff Dark over a Bud Light at a normal bar in the airport.
