One of the first craft beer bars in town and it shows. Great and friendly service, small well thought out tap list and a large bottle list. By today’s standards, nothing really special, but still a pleasant stop that is mostly local. Prices are ok and beer snacks are very cheap.
Typical brown pub, with a focus on Belgian beers. Decent selection of the standard Belgians and a couple of Dutch beers. Some more special beers on a guest bottle list. Bar tender didn’t seem to know a lot about beer. Listed inbev as brewer...
Nice biercafé with beers from different countrys. Very happy to teaste beer from the new brewery from Tilbug Sint Juttemis ; Frivool Blond och Baldig Dunkel. Serviceminded personal and good beersnacks. The "old kaas" was perfect to the beers. Our favorit was Moeder Overste Tripel Brasserie Lefebvre
An open, light, old fashioned bar in a side street close to the centre of town. It’s quite large but has a friendly feel. There are about eight taps – not terribly exciting but enough to choose from – and the cheese and bitterballen just hit the spot after a pleasant afternoon at the Tilburg beer festival with the RBESG crew.

Classic Dutch appeal to this friendly bar. Fairly big, offering visitors an excellent place to indulge in Belgian beer. I say Belgian, because that’s the style of most brews, be them actually from Belgium or The Netherlands. Not much ticks here though, perhaps because we’ve just been to the beer festival with local brewers. Very nice cheese and bitterballen here, to complete the experience. A classic beer spot, but very well executed. (Visited during the RBESG)
Visited on the last day of the RBESG 2013 after the Tilburg beer festival. Didn’t really pay much attention to the beer list, but an Orval after a rather tiring rating session hit the spot quite nicely, as did the cheese and the bitterballen. The staff seemed competent and friendly and the atmosphere is rather typical of these traditional beer cafés.
Visited during RBESG 2013. Bit of an old school look, very close to the centre & train station. About 10 tops & 150 – 200 bottles. 40 – 50 of these are NL beers, interesting smaller picks mainly but unfortunately I had just tried pretty mull of these before coming here. The rest is mainly BE beers which outnumber the NL ones, I don’t think that there was anything which I haven’t had before but the beers available were quite good one. Also a handful of Flying Dog ones available. Good service, good cheese & bitterballen available. Good place, probably more interesting if you haven’t had too many BE beers or if you are local. Apparently this is the best bar in Tilburg. Reasonable prices.
