Amazeballz shop, the bros are chill, they have legit beer on tap, they have legit beer in bottles, prices are reasonable for what they are. Great selection, both local stuff and from all over the world. Obviously loads of breweries brewed legit beers for their anniversaries, Deviation, Bruery XII, so on (ticked all those).
A smallish shop that does the most it can with the space. Tons of beers, almost all in coolers lining the walls. Small area up front for checkout and a small bar in the back with beers on tap. A few tables in the middle for seating. Very dark. Service was good considering there was one guy manning the place. Selection is world class with some old rarities available at a price. No food available and prices seemed reasonable if not a bit expensive. A great beer store with world class selection.
Narrow and dimly lit store with its walls lined with coolers of beer and a small bar in the back. The selection isn’t massive (though it is sizable), but it is well-curated. I spent quite some time browsing while sipping on a couple pints. The employee was nice enough but really didn’t say much other than when he poured me a brew. I snagged some of the harder to find wet hop beers as well as some Oktoberfests I hadn’t been able to find elsewhere. A nice store that is worth heading out to.
can have some markups, but I’ve never not been impressed with the selection when in here. kind of a dark and dingy place that can have great service or the same type of ;tude you get at a lot of tattoo parlors, but definitely a must hit if you’re close.
Been to this place many times now, and my experiences have been quite mixed. The good first or the bad? Start with the good. Nice location with great bottles, taplist, and always something new to try. They ate really good at the whole cellaring part as well, and will pull out some nice vintage bottles at all times. The bad side. What’s with the hours? 8 pm close time? I have a job, and when they tend to release stuff at opening, it’s never available anymore when I get there, and by the time I can get there, they are last call. The gelato shop across the street stays open 3 hours later than they do, on weekdays! That’s the only major negative, beside the fact that some of the staff tends to talk to me like I’m a complete idiot. All the staff disrespect and horrible hours aside, I still enjoy this place, and will for sure look the other way to continue coming here and enjoying great beer and events.
Cramped, dimly lit, dingy little bottle shop on a small commercial area mostly populated by restaurants - all the beer is in coolers - surprisingly small selection, really - I went to a few other stores later in the day that had far more extensive selections - now, I supposed what is cool here is the knowledge the staff has, and they fact that they al so have a small selection of vintage beers on sale, some of which is highly sought after by some (barrel-aged Leviathan, anyone?) - so I guess that’s cool if you want to pay a ton of money for old, oxidized beer - they have a small tap list and you can also consume bottles there - the tap list was decent and the prices were not that bad, but it’s not exactly a comfortable place to have a beer, anyway - the guy working wasn’t exactly unfriendly, but he definitely seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else - not the world class place I was hoping for, honestly - seems like it was probably amazing a decade ago when craft beer wasn’t so huge, but today there are more (and better) options out there.
