Big and busy place in Brugge, packed with tourists. Got in the restaurant at first, quite noisy, food it looked expensive to me and sort of fancy, not my thing. Then back in the late afternoon to have some other shots in the outside. Beers are very good at least.
More of a huge cafe than a bar. Windows overlooking the canal. Comfy sofas by the fire. Brugs Zot on tap and a basic selection of Straffe Hendrik bottles at OK prices – around 4 Euro. We sat next to the fire with a coffee and my girlfriend was happy with that. I was less happy with the lack of new beers, but this was a nice pitstop nonetheless. Most people seem to stop by here to do the brewery tour. There is also a shop which sells the standard range of Straffe Hendrik for 50% higher prices than the Carrefour in Bruges. But it was the only place I saw the ’Heritage’, which I picked up for 14 Euro, which I thought was an acceptable price. (60)

great tour if you happen to be in Bruges. very informative, and they even have a native english speaking tour guide (as of spring 2015). their beer is great too. get a sample at the end. we didn’t eat their, but the menu looked good.
I did the tour (9€, one brugse zot included) and apart from the obligatory and repetitive explanation how beer is brewed the tour is quite nice, especially the brew tower and some of the old equipment (heat exchanger, brew vessels etc.). The Bar is nice, but nothing special and serves their own beer.
Stopped for a quick drink, 4 taps of their own beer. Old style interior with loads of beer paraphernalia. Good service, price is quite high. Did not take the tour as full and looked relatively pricey anyways (3x Cantillon?)
Located in the beautiful historic centre of Brugge, this brewpub is quite stylish, modern and busy but pleasant. A variety of beers brewed on location, as well as a selection of other decent Belgian beers are on offer, and the staff, quite friendly, are happy to serve them. Not very cheap, although their own beer is cheaper here than anywhere else in town. Did not try the food - perhaps next time. Will gladly be back again, also to visit the brewery (all the tours for the next two days were booked when I arrived).
