Old school bar vibe in a basement. Excellent taplist, lots of different styles, not so much modern styles. Small pours available. Well worth a visit.

I was in bit between should I visit this place or should I not. I did and I regret nothing. On last day of my 2 week trip in Canada I still managed to find 15 new brewery ticks for me. I tried them all. The old lady in earlier shift was nice, but so was the younger lad later. Place filled quickly after 17:00. Would come back. Must visit in Toronto.

Spontaneous visit and very surprised. Nice cellar bar with pool-billard and mandatory tv screens for Sports. Crowded as all places at Toronto. Nice selectipn of Toronto and Ontario brews on tap. Small sizes availlable, very busy staff.

Good broad selection of taps with a focus on local beers. Decent food. Visited May, 2018. Nurmis is right though - this place was very hard to find the entrance.

Located close by to Goose Island Brewhouse, they have a reasonable selection of local beers, for instance Bellwoods, and decent prices. A good place to pop in for a while.

Visited in June 2018, Sunday night. Was quite hard to find, with only a door to a cellar between two restaurants. Live music and maybe 20 people. Able to have a conversation, better than many other places. Lots of local beers on tap, and a knowledgeable bartender to ask recommendations. Overall a very pleasant visit. Did not try the food.

After coming here for many years, I can't believe I have never rated it before. One of the the original classic craft beer bars. In a cozy basement, this place is functional and can be cozy. Beer selection has always been decent, but with the new kids on the block it has been slowly fading into the background. A good stop now but not the great stop it once was.

Visited 10th July 17, quick sneaky afternoon session, it’s near the Metro Convention centre, where I was working. The place was dead, just me at the bar. For some good IPAs in 3rd pint glasses, all were good, a varied hit and miss selection, if you don’t know what your looking for. Prices OK, bottled looked more pricy.

Large bar with large selection of local craft beer, mostly on tap and casks. No flights, but they pour 4 oz glasses, which allows to tick a few beers on a single visit. Overall nice and worth a visit.

Large basement restaurant/bar in the City. Decent tap selection of mostly Ontario stuff as well as their own "experimental" house brews. Average prices for the area. Food is quite tasty with generous portions and a focus on spices and seasoning. Pretty enjoyable place for a meal an a few beers.
