Classic old German / Austarian brewpub, dark wood, a nice beer garden etc. 5 beers on tap, 3 house beers and 2 geust. Some macro bottles aswell. Classic styles, Helles, Weiss, dunke, not super interesting but nice and fresh. Food was good, kindof mix of standard pubgrub gone german. Nice and helpfull service and nice prices.
Of the big old school austrian beer pubs like Schweizerhaus or 7 Stern Bräu, this one is definitly my favorite. Overall both prices and service are better here than at the other locations. Food is good and portions are usually big. the interesting thing here are the pub own beers of course. they have their not so interesting standard beers, and then some changing things, which can be hit or miss. Overall recommended though. The garden in summer is very nice. Can be packed, so its a good idea to make a reservation.
Let’s be clear this is a restaurant and a damn good one first with top service and a beer spot a distant second. The have occasional new beers on but mostly they only have their two regular beers. Come for the wonderful beer garden and food and if you are lucky try a new beer
The restaurant and the beer garden are very nice, also the food is quite good. Some weekends they have a jazz brunch, which I can recommend. Beers are average, nothing special. Sometimes they brew a stout, normally they have Märzen and Weissbier.
A light, dark and an autumn beer on offer, all quite acceptable but nothing stunning. The place is great, sort of warming on what was the first day of autumn weather. We ate and both meals were fine. The staff were very stretched and coped well. Recommended
I like this place, especialy in summer. Great beer garden with old chestnut trees. Good food, well brewed beer and some other austrian beers. I would like the pub even more, if the would brew more different beers.
