An unassuming little Mexican place which you by first sight would not think of as a craft beer place - but it is! A fine selection of American beers both on tap and bottled. Good food too - my camel burger was very tasty (they were out of alligator). Friendly service.

Had to come back and rerate this. Since my last visit this place has gone downhill in a major way. The beer selection is now a complete disaster. Noone seems to know what is actually on tap and what is sold out. The stuff that is available doesn’t have a style listed, let alone a description......so have fun with that. The food portions are much smaller. Finally the service is absolutely horrendous. Stay away, this place is now a nightmare.

This is an interesting place. Basically it’s all outside seating with a tin roof over you. Crowded inside. Fixed tables, a little claustrophobic. They have a fantastic beer list with about 20 taps or so, with a great selection. Not really a bar, though. I had a burger, and it kinda sucked, to be honest. The roll was dry, the meat was overcooked, and there was gobs of Miracle Whip on my Bacon Avocado burger. Still, a great beer menu.

I wasn’t impressed with the area or the building until I sat down and looked at the beer and food menu, great selection of both. Great service and food, decent prices.

The food is a little pricey but it’s fantastic. I almost never pass up the $6.00/20 ounce sampler. Tap list has a local flair. Outdoor, concrete seating and sometimes long wait time detracts a bit. Beer list, extensive menu (including exotic meats) makes up for it.

What a kick ass little place. Shady neighborhood and not a ton of parking considering the popularity, but the food is awesome. I had a Kobe mushroom and Swiss burger and it was fantastic. The beer choices are impressive considering it isn't a beer bar. They have 20 beers on tap AND a decent bottle selection. I'm not from the area do I don't know i these tap offerings are normal for the area but besides dogfish head 90 minute I had literally seen another one of these offerings on tap. They were all micro brewery offerings. Couple that with the food and you've got a killer place. One thing to consider is that all the seating is outside, but it is covered, so be aware of the temperature.

This new Sacramento restaurant started off with a very nice beer menu. There are 8 beers on tap, including Double Bastard, Big Daddy and Dales Pale Ale. There is not a huge selection of bottles, but there are some good ones from Stone, Oskar Blues, Speakeasy and other, mostly California microbreweries. The food menu is primarily sandwiches and burgers, including ostrich, wild boar, elk, and venison. Great burgers. Service is at the counter, but there are quite a few tables indoors and outdoors under a heated awning. The prices are amazingly low.
