82 Visita recomendable a una de las grandes de EEUU. Pese a eso el local defrauda, la zona en la que se encuentra no parece muy segura. |
80 Taproom in schwieriger Gegend… schöne Auswahl. Kkasiker Brauerei in Denver |
68 Small grungey taproom. Staff were busy but efficient. Flights available. Beers were generally pretty OK, but I think the rating here is biased towards old scores of a brewery that has not particularly moved with the times. |
60 Smaller place. A good variety of beers available. Service was distracted. Visited once, probably won't return. |
90 Visited on 3rd November 2019. Smallish taproom not far from Union station. 2 rooms surrounding the brewery. Nice homely feel to place. 15 taps including some Yeti variants. Had a tasting flight, 4oz pours at good prices. Beer quality goid. Service good despite it being busy. Definitely one to stop by if you like a boosty Impy. |
74 I was actually pretty underwhelmed by this. Don't get me wrong, Great Divide does solid work, but nothing that really sings to me or makes me say "that's different." Best thing I had here was a Jameson crossover. Otherwise everything had a fatal type flaw which kept it from being amazing (but nothing was actively mediocre or anything - just steadily above average).
Service was great and you can get 4 oz pours to your heart's content. They have merch available to go. Just not really cutting it on the beer side for me. |

86 Ambiance: Small, homey tap room in downtown Denver. The neighborhood has a bordering-on-sketchy vibe. Inside is a small bar, with a small backroom. It's cozy, but nice.
Service: Pretty good, as long as they're not too busy.
Selection: About 15 taps of their stuff, good mix between standards, rarities, and pilot batches. A couple of the pilots were really excellent.
Food: N/A. No food truck on the day I was there, but there was an amazing empanada joint about 2 blocks away that I absolutely punished after leaving GD in desperate need of nourishment.
Value: Not bad at all. Couple of flights for less than $20, can' t beat it.
Overall: So I'm a huge GD mark. Their Colette introduced me to craft beer. Work brought me to Denver for the first time ever and I knew I had to get there. Checked out both locations on line, including their active tap list, and picked this over the Barrel Room on a whim. Just before I got their, something kicked and they put on...Colette. It was a great experience. |
84 Cool tight spot downtown. Few dozen taps, some take away bottles. Taps include the expected brands from GD, but also a handful of special releases. Service was great, food truck available. |
88 Visited July 2016. Smallish taproom, on my visit it was busy but manageable. Most of the GD standard range was on plus one or two specials. Good to come here, it’s a must visit for any craft beer fan visiting Denver |
