Maybe the best place for beer in Hasselt as far as selection goes, which really doesn’t say much, Stadhuis has more local character,... Both are very far from essential. They have basic lambiek offerings, Stille Nacht (@Mathieu87 review, 4.60 euro these days),.... Standard prices. Classic Belgian restaurant feel but they only serve snacks. Service was weird, they saw us enter but we had to wait for our quirky waiter for some time. They have a lot of beers but almost all of it is quanity above quality. There were a few beers now to me here but all of them within bland BE blond-bruin-tripel category. Meh. Might opt for Stadhuis if I can sit outside if I wind up back in Hasselt or just check out of their wine bars instead.
Nice cafe in a quiet location near the Grotemarkt. Easily the biggest selection of beer in town although the menu can be confusing as it doesn’t give the brewery names. Variable service and if my change is only 10c, I still expect to get it back.
They have an Amazing range of beers, maybe they don’t have the special Bottlings but they have beers from almost every belgian brewery, good and easy to read menu, and I love that the floors are in different levels, makes it more vivid. Best Place in Hasselt, no doubt.

Cool place!! Service is fast and correct. We went there on a saturday night, so it was crowded, but they managed to get our beers quick and with the right glasses. Decent selection of Belgian brews with by example Stille Nacht and Pannepot as classics, but also a decent selection of local stuff and lambics. Prices were really good!! By example 3.8 for a Stille Nacht I think. Overall, if you’re in Hasselt, this is the place to go!!
Nice bar with a great selection of beers. The service was not very good and they didn’t know a lot about the beers, but this was a great place to hang out and have some really good beers. Definitely worth the stop despite the customer service.
