La Houblonnière

Small shop close to the Pont Neuf on the western shore of the river. They have a nice selection of Belgian and French beers along with a decent selection of different European brewers with some beers you would not expect. In total approximately 400 bottles. Only a few beers from oversea. Additionally, they offer 8 taps (mostly french) and have some bottles and cans cooled. The guy there was friendly and helpfull and seemed really passionate about beer. Small but nice place with a good selection - I enjoyed my visit.

Walked some distance from Toulouse center to ecperiment. Came for Ris IS on the web draft menu... Not updated of course! Again!! Asked if any in their fridge...was told by barman that the RIS or IS must not be refrigeraded(!!) so I could have one from the shelves at 22deg C?! c'est-cela-ouiii... 10to12 seemed to me a good bracket to me... So back to a frigid draft porter, but a decent one. Ambiance so so. Service and internet-service really not on par with the RATEBEER rating! No coming back.

Located nearby the city center, great selection of French beers, reasonable prices.

Between Saint Cyprien République underground and La Garonne. Easy to find... less easy to park. Interesting large selection of french local and regional beers, and other great ones from La Vallée du Giffre , La Corrézienne or Thiriez ; of course, belgian classics... "Clean" beerstore. Friendly, interesting and knowledgeable owner. I think value was OK... The place to go if you want local or regional french beers.

Nice shop situated near the centre. Good choice of beer, and the owner is good to help and give advices on his products. A place to visit !

We visited here on Saturday 15th November 2014 (in between our birthday’s day). We walked over the bridge to the west side to visit this place as well as taking in L’Abbattoir (modern art venue). This shop is situated on the main road leading to the Pont Neuf bridge, it is on the LH side as you walk toward the bridge to cross back over to the east. It is a mid sized oblong shaped unit with beers on racking on both sides and at counter at the rear, there is also a fridge on the RH side. The young chap/owner who served us was friendly, chatty and helpful he also when asked pointed us in the direction of a new bar in town that stocks a super range of beer (all bottles), but back to the shop. Choice was pretty good with a good range of Belgian beers, some UK and a decent French selection as well as some De Molen though I did think that price wise it was a little steep on a couple of offerings particularly De Molen. I picked up a French Impy stout and APA but can’t recall brewery. Much like the shop we visited on Friday night I did think that this could have carried a wider selection, there was certainly room to do so. However all told it was well laid out, easy to find and with a broad French selection most hardened beer fans should definately find something they’d not had.

Decent place with probably best selection of French craft beer in Toulouse. Didn’t spend much time in the shop so hard to judge too much, but basically good place.

Manu was very helpful. I wanted to try French Artisanale beers and he guided me through them improving my French at the same time! A rock and roll shop with a little attitude! A must for lovers of good beer, see the reviews below.
