82 Great pizza and a very good selection of drafts that change regularly. |
54 Last visited a year ago, and this one is definitely the inferior location compared to the south Huntsville one (or any other MM, for that matter). It’s the best option in Providence Main Street ( or at least it was the last time I was in H’ville), so if you don’t want to venture forth, then stop here. |
52 Definitely less beer-centric and less interesting then the other Huntsville location. Its located in one of those town center develoIpments designed by someone who’s never been to one. I hate bifurcated restaurants where you can’t see the restaurant from the entrance. This one has a sitting area on one side and a bar area on the other. This place is basically half the other location in every conceivable way. The most irritating part about this location are the prices. $6 for a local pint is robbery. If you go to mellow mushroom head to the other location. |
56 24 Taps and 41 bottles. Most of the selection is the generic domestic variety but there are a few quality drafts and bottles. The food is excellent. I had a 10" meat pizza. I’ve never had bacon that tasted so good. It tasted like it was smoked and dipped in maple syrup. The bar was small, but adequate. |
62 Visited with some friends. This place is large, and was very busy. Typical Mellow Mushroom atmosphere. The service was lacking, but proably due to the crowd. The waitress only knew the macrobrews on tap, and I had to go out of my way to find what I wanted. Still, they had some good beer, including several common craft beers and a good selection of local and regional beers. The pizza was great, as always, and the prices for everything were good. Overall, not the best, but respectable. |
72 A larger MM than most, and very open. As always, the food is quite good, and the prices acceptable. There were roughly 15 taps on at my visit, with all being micros. |
60 This location has a smaller bar area compared to other MM’s I’ve been to. The craft selection will get you by but is not that big. Same great food menu found at other locations. Rumor is the owner is going to open a second location in SE Huntsville in 2011 that will have a larger bar area with more taps and larger craft beer selection. |
50 June 2012 update. They now have about 8 local/Alabama beers on tap. The big issue: All but 2 are 10oz beers for $5 each. Rip off!!!!
October 2011 update. The service has gone to pot. The last several times I’ve been here they have gotten our order wrong. No real management in sight. Local taps seem to at a minimum. We will avoid for a while until they clean up their act.
Part of the MM chain out of Atlanta. Nice clean facility sort of off the main highway in a "town center" type of development. Open, lively bar area with lots of windows. Tons of families with kids.
Known for it’s great pizza. I’ve been here 3 times and the pizza has never let me down. All ingredients are fresh.
Decent selection of draft beers (about 40) with a couple of decent finds (Double Bastard, Delirium Tremens) among lots of macro.About 50 bottles with nothing out of the unusual.
Having been to Huntsville only a few times I would suspect that this is one of the better food/beer combos in the city. |
