86 A great bar with a wide variety of beers both on tap and bottles. You can find some great bottles, yet expensive, but perhaps is worth what you re paying. Recommended for a quick stop |
64 Friendly staff, nice venue, but kind of overrated, with a selection that’s not all that impressive, or fresh. |
54 Decent atmosphere, but I thought the selection was a bit lame. Also, in house brews were very underwhelming. |

70 Visited 8th December 2015 - On the main street in the center of Stockholm. The place is not amazing. Selection is made on tap with Adelsö Bryggeri beers. Good american bottle selection and also trappist selection. Service is ok but not so more and atmosphere is lower than average beer place. Good place if you want have an american beer but there are much more better place to visit in Stockhom... Ok but not the best at all. |
54 As the name implies, this bar focuses on American beer, both on tap and bottle, with a pretty amazing selection. But I have two issues with the place: 1) Many beers don’t travel - in particular American IPAs. 2) Even on a Thursday evening the place was packed like a sports bar during Super Bowl, no seating to be found. So my overall impression is pretty low, I would much rather suggest the original Monk’s Cafe & Brewery in Wallingatan which actually feels like a beer bar, not a sports bar. Visited: 2015-07-31 |
76 Very good selection and good service. |
76 Friendly welcoming talkative staff with quite a craft beer interest. Nice selection (focused mainly on the Monk beers). Fair prices for Stockholm. Did not eat. |
72 Beer- oriented english- style pub serving, in addition to the Monk’s brews, a wide selection of ales mostly from the us. Definitely a nice selection here, but couldn’t really find anything too special, got the feeling this is just the place all the US bottles from other Monks’ end up when they can’t get them sold elsewhere. Didn’t try food. The street level is a bit tight to get around, didn’t visit the second floor. Hasn’t changed much in terms of interiour since their former (belgian) days; the same westy crates, bottles. Maybe one or two US brewery sticker on the wall now. |
70 Good selection of mostly american beers. Wide selection of bottles, even rare ones, in the fridges. Good ambiance and easy to find. |
