In the last year MJBC has built shelves for the stock and has organized the beer by style. The problem with outdated beers has improved. Nice selection and price for growlers and half growlers.

Mt. Juliet Beer Company seems to stock every beer they can get their hands on. Most of the stuff is unrefrigerated and past expiration dates, which is frustrating. But with a selection so vast there will be something worth buying. The strongest appeal to me was the growler station. There were plenty of interesting options if I wanted to try something new and also solid, delicious beers Iíve had in the past. Calfkiller, Turtle Anarchy, Yazoo, Victory, Sweetwater to name a few. Prices on the growlers were very affordable. Iíve seen other places beginning to charge a higher price for a growler refill than for a six pack of the same beer, which makes no sense to me. But Mt. Juliet and other growler stores in the Nashville area seem to be bucking that trend.

This was a nice shop, especially considering the small town surroundings. Not a destination-type store but if you find yourself on the north side of Nashville it is definitely worth the stop. You can still mix-n-match 6 packs and they have about 6-9 different beers for growler fills. Bonus: free growler fill on your birthday! Also a decent selection of home-brew accoutrements.

Nice stop, lots of singles available, growler fills, help was helpful and directed me to what I was looking for. Also sells bait (does that go under the Food rating?), so who could want more.

This hasnít been open long. Sells singles from any sixer and has everything that the <6% side of Frugalís or Midtown has. Good prices and friendly service.
