This is a rather classic-looking british-style pub - I would not have gone in there had it not been for the recommendations. They have a large beer selection though, of 30 taps, the 900 bottles seem to not be correct anymore. Most bottles I saw were rather standard. That being said, there are some interesting beers on tap, and they are served in a good condition. One of the must-see places in Uppsala.

A really nice bar, great selection. Bar staff overctive. Good pub food.
Arrghh! After visiting a Scottish, an English, an Irish, yet another English pub and finally ending up at another Irish styled pub, I began to feel unsure about if I really was in Sweden or somewhere in The British Isles? Uppsala needs a Swedish beer bar! But, enough complaining. This has nothing to do with O’Connors, which is really a great place to enjoy craft beers. I will not give it top score in ambiance, but beer selection is great! 15 guest taps and more than 600 bottles, which is awesome. You can purchase a beer teaser (5x18 cl) for 189 kronor. Service minded and knowledgeable staff. (Visited June 25th 2014)
Still one of Sweden’s best beer pubs. Nothing posh just a simple pub with good prices and a great selection. (With a walk-in beer room!) Run by a devoted owner. A new really nice menu with some really great dishes. Still missing some Närke beers but I’ve heard they are getting some O’Connor’s special beers! Well worth the 40 min train ride from Stockholm. Cheers!
Trevlig personal.
A pretty standard Irish pub atmosphere hides a truly great selection of beers, though be warned some of the rarities on the menu may well be sold out. The staff was friendly & helpful but busy as he seemed to be the only guy working. Well informed & when I went they had 3 Flying Dog beers which was pretty cool. Prices seemed fairly average for me for Sweden(most taps 33cl around 89SEK) though the bottle list may have been cheaper than in Stockholm & if you know what you’re looking at can hide some real gems. The fries were crisp & tasty which bodes well for the rest of the food. If you’re in Uppsala check it out.
