Old Chicago - Fort Collins (Old Town)

Pretty typical Old Chicago. A bunch of bottles that you’ve most likely tried, pretty standard fare. I think I settled for a Duvel. Average atmosphere and poor service. Food is average to good and the prices are fair at best. Scroll past.

Ambiance is great if you are looking for a bar scene for sports games or something similar. Service was good, very attentive waiter and he knew a bit about the beer. Selection was pretty good, about ten micros on tap, plus twenty or so specialty bottles. Food is really good, even if you pay for it. Pretty pricey unless you do tasters (four 4 oz. tasters for $4.95). Overall, a good place to watch a game or socialize and have some good beer, but nothing great if you want something special

A quick visit on our way to Tap and Handle. I guess kind of like our Yard House in SoCal...chain sort of place with a ton of taps but all pretty standard stuff. They were sort of winding down for the night, so not very crowded. Smelled like parmesan cheese inside. I guess that’s okay...?

Nice setup with some bar tables with plenty of room to move around. Natrually (like the other locations that i’ve been to) it caters to the college crowd. The tap lineup isn’t bad. Plenty of CO-made beers plus some macros. Nothing amazing but you can find something you wouldn’t mind drinking while watching the game on the tvs and hanging out with the college kids.

Pretty typical Old Chicago’s in downtown Fort Collins. Good selection of beer, but nothing that you wouldn’t expect at any other Old C’s in Colorado. Prices seem a little higher than at other bars near downtown.

Just like all the other Old Cs from around the country. It has its market (college kids) and does food and beer accordingly. Not great, not bad, just Old Cs.

A pretty typical Old C - sport bar / pizza restaurant. They have a lot of taps but usually not much interesting. The pizza is pretty good and the rest of the food is decent, but not very healthy.

Your prototypical Old C’s. Great beer selection and good food. This place gets packed around dinner time until close on the weekends.

Shitters: C+

Great selection of beers on tap and bottled. Food is ok, nothing special. Has an older time feel with wooden wrap around bar etc. Lots of tables to sit and eat.
