KansaiBeerLvrs  (567) Kyoto, Japan | February 11, 2013
Located 7 minutes on foot from JR Settsu-Tonda station & 5 minutes from Hankyu Tonda station. This place is a sake brewery who also make a small line of craft beers. Twice a year they have an open house when you can visit the brewery, buy sake/beer/brand goods & eat Japanese festival foods-this is when they have 3 taps of their beer, heated bottles of sake and lots of other kinds of sake on offer. The brewery is a huge beautiful old warehouse with dirt floors, wood beams, lots of atmosphere. I asked and they said you can come on a regular workday to pick up their beers/sake directly from the brewery. In that case, their prices are pretty reasonable. Nice friendly people but I didn’t hear English being spoken or any English signs so it’s probably best if you speak some Japanese. A nice place, especially if you are into sake.
