Portcullis Hotel

Really not worth the walk! Single cask available, some kegs too I imagine but I wasn’t paying attention. Friend was sworn at for taking too long to decide what he’d like, avoid.

A nice hotel bar, the last place to eat and drink before Stirling Castle. The lounge bar has a calm ambience. According to their website they always have cask ale on and on this occasion, it was 2 beers from Cairngorm brewery, both of which were kept well. Food was typical pub grub but executed ok. A good range of Scotch Malt also there.
