Visited early on a Sunday afternoon in January. Not too crowded, service was quick. I sat at the bar and had two flights. Great variety of beers on draft. Variety of lagers, hoppy stuff, a couple of different stouts and porters, two different seasonals. Didn’t have any food, but it looked decent. Prices, both beer and food, were definitely generous.
Would love to go back. Definitely a bright spot for beer in this area.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this new addition to the NW Florida scene. I stopped in 3 times over a week-long business trip, once just to eat and not drink beer. The staff was consistently friendly and knowledgeable (and cute). I only drank two of their sturdy lineup of beers, but both were good, and the DIPA was good enough that I was content to stick with it. The food and prices were both great, and they had events going on all week for Craft Beer Week. Cool DC-3 prop for a ceiling fan! A+ (Brewery #708)
Their food is amazing and they have suggestions for pairing with their own beers. Personally like their food more than their beer, but that’s because they have nachos and mac-n-cheese on lockdown. It’s a nice little local brewpub that saves you the drive from Fort Walton to McGuire’s in Destin.
Located at the end of a strip mall in Ft. Walton Beach. Mostly four top high top tables with a few family style tables. Four big screen TVs above the bar. The bar is L shaped until it reaches the brew and fermentation tanks. It zig zags in another L pattern at that point. Service was very good. Prompt, available, friendly, and helpful in spite of being the only one working the bar and floor. She was the GM though. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of their own offerings as well as 12 guest taps. They sell growlers.
I’ve been here a couple of times while doing orchestra gigs in the FWB/Destin area. I’m surprised I never rated it. Average brewpub on all fronts. Typical beers (I think it was brown, blonde, red, and stout when I visited), typical food, typical look. It didn’t blow my mind, but it was a nice, fun stop, and I’ll check in for ticks when I have time in FWB.
Very good food here, with a great variety. Appetizers are large servings and usually fill you up unless you have a few friends to share them with. Entrees are great, I have tried their burger and their Fish and Chips, both excellent. Beer selection is quaint, a few of their own on tap as well as local-ish guest taps. Their best beers are their lighter selections, their bigger beers tasted a little thin to me. Overall a pleasant place to go hang out and have lunch/dinner and a pint.
Horribly located in the busiest area of FWB. I’m sure they studied the location and saw a ton of cars traveling by. They just didn’t realize it was people waiting an hour to hit the beach, or a pissed off family heading back from a day at the beach. The selection is about 8 of their own beers and 5 guest taps - which seem to be nothing special as to not compete for attention. Their beers were okay. The food was pretty good. The server was very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, I would stop in. I would not go out of my way though.
Nice warehouse style restaurant brewpub with lots of airplane and military paraphernalia. Friendly service, that knew what she had on tap, but not necessarily able to describe the beers. Selection was limited to some macros in bottles, their stuff on tap, and four guest taps with semi-local, kind of hard to find stuff. Food was the best part; large portions and tasty bar style food. Average pricing, food was cheap, beer was a bit above what I’m used to. Definitely worth a stop, but the food is better than the beer they make.
Nice open warehouse style concept with a huge aircraft propeller hanging from the ceiling. Service was very attentive and knew the tap list very well. Had an appetizer that could have been considered a meal by itself. The beer was fairly good and to style, the only problem is that they don’t have a growler license so no beer to go. They also had a good selection of guest taps. Worth a stop in this area.
A nice little brewpub in the military and touristy area of Destin. A small brewpub on the end of a plaza with the brewery attached to the restaurant/ pub. The owners are active military and so the the decor of the place is propellers. A nice place inside and out with some nice beers, good service, and a solid effort. I look forward to trying more beers from this startup Florida micro.
