Copper bar. Lots of taps. Some of the reserve beers seem to be always on (gotta keep the taps busy); a few guests. Good service. Parking is questionable!

Nice place. A big bar, with plenty of seating. Lots of wood and copper. Good service, food and beer.

Stopped by one afternoon while staying in Walnut Creek for a day. Nice location in downtown Walnut Creek. The atmosphere was nice and is similar to what you’d find at modern brewpubs. They had the usual lineup of Pyramid beers plus a couple extras when I visited. Worth stopping by if you haven’t had Pyramid beers before, but I wouldn’t go out of my way otherwise.

This Brewpub makes fairly good beers. I love their MacTarnahan's Goosebump, Snow Cap, Super Snow Cap, Barleywine, and Oatmeal Stout. The food goes well with their beers and it has a nice family atmosphere. A great place to go after work with friends. I go here quit often. I love this place and their beers, especially their fall and winter selections.

Came by here on a Saturday night for brews with friends and live music. The crowd was entirely affluent preppy singles so expect to be the only beer geek there. The IPA was good while the Pale Ale was way too creamy and watery for my tastes. The overall beer selection is average and typical for a chain brewpub. The food looked like your typical brewpub menu that’s heavy on the salty meat and fried stuff. Hard to recommend this place when the Bay Area has so many better craft beer drinking establishments and eateries but it’ll do if you want to grab a quick pint while in Walnut Creek.

A pretty big place - very modern US brewpub, with the brewery off to one side next to the dining area - I wonder which beers they brew there. A very long copper bar dominates the room upon entering with a second row of tables just behind it and some boths. Free Wifi - nice for the traveller. The beer names are a mess, since they come from different Pyramid owned breweries - I ended up getting 5 new beers. The service was very patient with us.

Food is good, service is great, ambiance is good too. The beers, however, well - it’s PYRAMID! What do you expect? But all in all, not bad. Also, check out the Alehouse at the Oakland Airport if ever there.

I went on the tour here and was told the Berkeley brewpub (and those out of state) are the mass brewers. None of the barrels were operational when I went there, and I informed that they primarily make experimental of special batches at this facility. The guy there was nonetheless very informative and went through the brewing process and the background of Pyramid. After the brief "tour", I was offered an 8-glass sampler, which included some MacTarnahans because they recently merged. Some of the brew were quite good, particularly the Hefeweizen and seasonal IPA. My bartender/tour guide continued to talk beer with me until his shift ended, and after a few more beers, I found out he had taken care of my tab. Service was excellent, and the beers were pretty good. Next time, I’d probably go to the Berkeley one to get the full experience of the tour.

Visited this place in downtown Walnut Creek on St. Patrick’s Day. They had about 8 beers on tap which were decent but not overly exciting. I will say that their apricot wheat is still one of my favorites, though. The hefeweizen was served green (for St Patty’s Day). Service was excellent and the fish tacos I had were pretty good. They gave two great patios, one in front and one in back.
