Nice big brewpub, sort of German style with lots of dark wood and long tables. Some tanks can be seen through a glass window. Basically everything you could want from a traditional small-town brewpub. 10 taps, mostly their normal range (which is rather wide) and a few more unusual beers, all of which were OK. Many serving sizes to choose from. Had a good desert. Definitely not a cutting edge type place, but a good place for big groups and mainstream craft beer.
NIce large brewpub. 10 taps with 3-4 specialls. Apr 30 bottles, all from Svaneke. Friendly and knowingly service. Outdoor seeting but Bornholm didnt ad up to the name "Sunshine-island" so I had to sit indoor but there was room enough though there isnt any bar-seetings. One of very few good beerplaces on Bornholm.
Big brewpub with outdoor seating as well, which is nice when we finally get a bit of sun in this country. The service was slow due to the the many visitors, and there wasn’t a lot of beer knowledge either. They were nice enough though. There was a good mix of beers on both tap and bottle, but none of them were really good, which is also how I view Svaneke beers in general. The stew and steak were okay but nothing special. If you’re on Bornholm it’s a must visit for any ratebeerian - not because it’s great, but because it’s easily the best on the island.
Very good place. It is the original Svaneke brewery, that now has moved to a bigger production couple blocks away. However the old brewery is still working producing monthly specials. And of course place serves as a tap for all products from the new brewery (7 taps). As of beers - they are a mixture of good beers with some being really great.
Brewpub and restaurant with the standard Svaneke brews and when I visited the place a few beers only available at the brewpub. The food is good and the staff is friendly. When visiting Bornholm this is place is a must visit place.
Visited this place once during a holiday on Bornholm. Nice ambience with the possibility to sit outside in the sun and a rather cosy interior. Staff knowledgeable about their products and the brewery. Selection is however rather disappointing since apparently it is the job of the brewpub to carry all the familiar variations of lager/classic/vienna rather than to showcase experimental brews. During my visit there was only one non-supermarket beer on tap and it was the standard IPA. The Sauna IPA had sold out a long time ago. I was very disappointed with the selection in other words. Bonus points for offering pitchers of beer and for having the staff point out the possibility when ordering two medium-sized beers. In my opinion this place loses a lot of potential by only offering the standard "57 varieties of lager" lineup in a town known for its gourmet and craft food profile that the low overall score is justified - especially in a time where most high profile brewpubs have at least twenty taps. If they add 5 taps of special brews I will adjust accordingly.
