68 Visited during Zwickelmania 2018. In spite of being open since 2011, there are very ratings of their beers and only eight reviews of the taproom. Seemed like a pleasant place. The brewing area is not divided from the service space. In fact, the brew kettle is right next to one of the tables. Strangely, the place did not really smell like a brewery, but had a clean fresh-paint sort of antiseptic odor. Eleven of their beers on tap, along with four New West ciders. Had two beers, both good enough. |

74 Small, charming little place off the beaten path. Intimate little main area with the bar, with a further section with additional seating. They had 12 beers on tap when I visited, plus a bunch of ciders, two of which they brew in house. I got the flight of 12 x 3 oz pours for $11.50, a total steal. Beer quality ranged from decent to very good, which exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Very friendly and helpful service. A good stop. Recommended, though with everything else in Portland, I can’t put it on the "must stop" list. |
76 Visited late afternoon on Sunday June 28, 2015. Sat by the bar with my two mates. Didn’t eat. Wifi available. Parking just across the street. Bus stop fairly close. Believe they had 11 of their own beers on tap, all available for a big flight. Also some ciders available on tap. Decent enough service. Could see myself coming back here. |
62 The beers and the mix of things on tap are excellent. The food a bit of a mix, the Kim Cher pickles were astonishing, the cheese board excellent and the burger flavorless. The service was laughable, slow, incorrect and mildly innapropriate. Get over there, your experience could well be different. |
76 Went for lunch. Good service and pretty nice food. They had 9 beers on tap, plus 3 or 4 from other breweries. A nice relaxing interior. The beers were mostly quite good. Overall, a nice place I will go again. |
82 Nice place great atmosphere with a very nice they had a good big tap list. The food was good pub food. This is a great place in the middle of the beer world. |
70 Comfortable brewpub to stop in for a beer and a bite. Music was old time bluegrass that eventually got on my nerves. Had a tasty sausage sandwich and two different IPAs. Friendly service. |
76 They just opened, and are still building out their brewing plant, and are awaiting BATF liquor permits. When I visited on 10/21/11, the manager told me that they estimated it would be 2 months before they would be brewing their own beer onsite.
In the meantime, they have 4 guest taps, which as of 10/21 were from Burnside, Bayern, Laurelwood, and Double Mountain. |
