An amazing store the focuses just on beer (with some mead and cider). A pub like feel with shelves of beer surrounding a central register. A small area with beer books and beer memorabilia as well. A small bar called the convicts pint for special firkin tastings and samples. Great selection as I have found a few rarities here already! Service is great as everyone is very knowledgeable. Prices are not too shabby as well. What a great store!

Excellent store though the selection is not unmatched by other top quality places. The staff did their best to answer a very specific question I had. The glassware and small library section is especially cool, and the selection of brewery-produced spirits adds a small touch to set this place apart.

Good selection of beers. The staff is very helpful and are very knowledgeable. This is a must stop place for anybody looking for great / new / beers.

Finally made it to this place. Great selection of damn near everything. Some European beers I haven’t seen in ages. Big variety of singles or six packs. Looks like they carry everything they can get their hands on from MN breweries. Nice glassware and book selection is a plus. They also have quite a few spirits from breweries. Decor makes me want to kick back with a book and a few brews for the day.

Very nice little beer shop! Great selection of everything local to import. Huge area of make your own 6 pack. Great service by the staff. The prices seemed fair - not great, but fair/average. Certainly worth a stop if you are in the area.

After having frequented the original location, I’ve been to the new place a number of times. I recently purchased two-5 gallong kegs and worked with a very helpful employee, Mike, who was able to give me the run down on what they could get. The selection has improved measurably even since the new location opened. Although I’m still not convinced they are competing with Blue Max for the truly hard to find beers, they do a very nice job. Beers are organized on shelves by style, which is generally better than by brewer, although if you’re trying to find a number of beers by a particular brewer you may need some assistance. Everything in the store is available in a single bottle, which is very nice. Definitely a beer geek destination.

While I think the people who work there are very knowledgeable about beer and the selection and setup is nice. I also think being a destination store lowers my rating because most of the beers that are rare or collectible typically sell out faster here than most other stores. For rare or collectibles there are a number of other stores I would try first to avoid the crowds.

Awesome beer selection with hundreds of bottles, mixed 6 packs and great service. One of the best beer stores in the state for sure. Also, awesome history of MN beer stuff with cool breweriana and other collectibles!
