Food is marginal and majorly overpriced. Service is consistently poor. I cannot recommend anything about this place, but it’s consistently busy, so someone must like it.

A "local" restaurant chain created after the closing of several O’Charley’s. The emphasis is on locally sourced product. The food menu is fairly unique. I’ve never been overly impressed by it, and for the money, there are restaurants I like much better.
However, we’re here to talk about beer, and beer they have. 18 taps, and well over 20 bottles. There’s a heavy emphasis on Michigan beers, so this is a great place to come to find offerings from standouts such as Short’s, Founders, Bells, Dark Horse and others all under one roof.
The service here isn’t always the best, although if you’re seated at the bar, the bartender will keep up with you. They’re not experts, but they’ll at least pour it, which is all I’m looking for at this place anyhow.
My only knock on the beer here is that I have to remember to ask for a non-frosted mug. Why they feel a need to frost the mugs and serve my porter ice cold is beyond me. The management needs a beer education. Still, they’re light years ahead of the national chains in terms of beer offerings.
Not perfect, but not a bad place to grab a beer, and they have a decent happy hour.
