82 Stopped in for beers had a couple of flights and a couple of pints nice selection and stop.Good quality beers across the styles. |
70 Large two-floor space. Top floor is more of a restaurant, lower floor more of a typical taproom. Preset flights available. Beer quality decent. |
88 Wicked Weeds less sour location. Maybe 24 beers on taps. Wide range of styles, with approachable ABVs. A couple of BA strong ales on tap, and a few BA sours. Very busy on a Friday night. (Oct 2022). A younger and more down to earth location. Great place to visit. Surrounded by many other breweries. |
82 Visited with my family and sat outside on the patio. It was very crowded so we decided not to wait for a table. There was an impressive selection and I had a Kolsch and Watermelon Saison. The Kolsch was very good and the Saison was good. We had fair service and the food was good. While our primary waiter was not very prompt, he was knowledgeable about their beer selection. Great design with plenty of space. Outside seating was nice and everyone had a good experience (that includes two teenage boys and my wife who drinks wine). |
40 Gotta be honest, this was the most pretentious and uninteresting brewery I went to while in Asheville. And the beer was very underwhelming given the 'destination' status a lot of people think of this place having. |
74 Beautiful building, plenty of outdoor seating (that's all that was available when I went), great food, beer was above average. Their flights are pre-selected, you can't make your own which I thought was pretty annoying. I wouldn't give it a 99 but definitely a cool place and worth going to. |
70 Visited 3/2020. It had just opened so not much other customer. I had sandwich and 2 flights. Beers and IPAs were very mediocre. InBev connection is pretty annoying. Boring place for masses. |
68 Beautiful restaurant that can get busy and thus it's tough to find a spot. Tons of taps, with flights only available until 7pm or so - annoying. Compared to Funkatorium, this place left much to be desired. I wouldn't bother with this one - just go to the Funkatorium, as it's better in every way. |
70 Had dinner upstairs. Food was good. We were served by at least five different people. Huge amount of staff on Tuesday evening. Went to toilet downstairs and noticed taproom side which had kind of dive bar feeling. Large tap list, had a flight. I think they do flights only till 7pm. Some of the beers are very good. |
76 Came here on 5.3.2018. Very nice red brick building, high ceiling, very professional dark interior and merchandising shop. Brewery is downstairs with an additional bar attached. 9 beers from their main range and 4 beers from their sour beer range on tap. I had a Pernicious (IPA), which was ok. Overall a good place but not outstanding. The overall score of 99 is misleading. |
